| Alan Young |
Founder and CEO of the 1st Addition group, Alan has extensive experience in both the profession and within industry as a whole. In addition to this role, Alan is the in house accountant at Enterprisenation.com, The Home Business Network, The eBay Journal and my proactiveaccountant.com as well as writing numerous articles and features for an array of web sites, magazines and publishing houses. It is the work he performs in these roles that ensures he is up to date with all of the very latest legislation, thereby ensuring the maximum tax savings and benefits for all clients. Elaine is Company Secretary of 1st Addition Accountancy Limited, and the principal director of 1st Addition Bookkeeping Services Limited, our sister company.
Elaine is an expert in all matters Sage, both accounts and payroll, including all aspects of PAYE / NI and VAT. She is also our CIS specialist, dealing with all issues arising within the Construction Industry Scheme.

Chris supports Alan in all aspects of the accounts and taxation work, and oversees the day to day running of the Telford office.
In particular, he is involved with payroll year ends and Self Assessment Tax Returns. He is also responsible for smaller year end accounts clients, bookkeeping and VAT.

Pete Savage deals with all of our clients' will writing and estate planning requirements, including lasting powers of attorney, for when, as Pete often says; "we only die a little bit."
